I have come across your website today as we, the Bishops in the Philippines, are having our 100th Plenary Assembly. One of the points that has been highlighted in our interactions is the call for the Philippine Church to be more missionary and that it has an evangelizing responsibility for Asia. I therefore commend you Missionaries who have labored hard for Christ in the missions. Special mention to the Filipino CICM Missionaries working in Japan. Particulary Father Patrick Castroverde, CICM, for whom I have the grace to be Ordaining Prelate last May in his hometown of Oslob, Cebu.
