As of April 2004, CICM-Japan Province has 45 members. 15 out of the whole number are young missionaries below the age of 50. In terms of nationalities, we have 32 Belgians, among them 3 who have acquired Japanese nationality, 3 Dutchmen, 6 Congolese, 4 Filipinos and 4 Indonesians. As a matter of fact, with this small number, we are spread to our respective places, from our small formation community, parishes, schools, religious institutes until our retirement-houses. Although we have this kind of various involvements, we still feel that we are ONE in being CICM missionaries, in one way or another.

We, in Japan, believe that the missionary priorities that we agree to take up, are interrelated and complementary and thus constitute one corporate project. To materialize our Provincial Missionary Projects we decided to set some priorities
