Our district of Osaka is indeed located within the territory of Archdiocese of Osaka. However, since geographically speaking it is too big to be one district, it has been set to be 2 districts, namely Osaka and Himeji. Whille making our communications and relationship more effective and closed, the district has its regular gathering from one community to the other. This district alone consists of Osaka City only and surroundings to its South-East, namely Kyoto and Nagoya.

In the northern part of Osaka, we can find Frs. Andre Broekaert (Parish Priest of Senri New Town Church), Paul Schrurs (living in Senri CICM Residence), and Noel Ostyn (Parish Priest of Amagasaki Church).

In the southern part of Osaka, we are involved in the Parish Team Ministry of Sakai Block. Our confreres who are working in this team are Frs. Constantin Konyi (residing in Sakai Church) and Robert Goessens (residing in Formation Community c/o Kongo Church). In this team we have been working closely with Japanese diocesan priests and sisters..

We are in Kyoto......
Our confreres working in Kyoto are Frs. Jan Van Bragt (1), Reimon Bachika (2) and Peter Baekelmans.. Three of them have been involved in research, studies and teaching on
Inter-Religious Dialogue's matters especially Buddhism and Sociology.

In another block, namely Abeno-Hirano Block our confreres Fr. Daniel Kuenji and Br. Blaise Mbuinga are working together with a cooperative Japanese priest ( Salesian ) and Japanese Sisters. Fr. Daniel is at the moment residing in Abeno Catholic Church.

Since April 2005, one of our confreres ( Fr. Harnoko Antonius ) has been
sent for a futher study in Nanzan Catholic University, Nagoya City. He
rides his motor-bike from time to time. (see right)
